Strain relief minimizes the damage to the ends of the RJ-45 plugs by preventing the cable from being bent at sharp angles. This Category 5e cable meets or exceeds TIA/EIA 568A industry standards. Category 5e patch cables are carefully constructed and tested to keep the Near End Crosstalk (NEXT) well within acceptable limits.
