Enhancing the Console Server 3200 product line, the SCS3230 (or 3230) offers numerous benefits and features over the conventional CS3200 product. PRODUCT FEATURES: Linux-based Secure Console Server using OpenSSH v2; ID / Password Security, configurable access rights; One RS-232 Terminal port (for your local Console); 10/100 Network Port (TCP/IP) - an option for the CS3200. The SCS3230 replaces the standard CONTROL card with the new combination NETWORK / CONTROL card, and fills the four Network / Terminal Card slots with Channel Extender cards. The Channel Extenders are used by the new Network / Control card to extend the number of channels available to the 10/100 IP network connection.
