Available for PCI platforms, the AccelePort EPC/X Family supports up to 224 ports per slot and a thousand-plus ports per host system.The AccelePort EPC/X Family supports multi-user and remote access environments. Each system includes an intelligent RISC-based host adapter card plus one or more EPC/CON-16 concentrators that can be daisy-chained at distances up to 1000 feet (300 meters) from the host or remotely connected via several options which include fiber optic, multiplexers (MUX), synchronous modems, frame relay or CSU/DSU.
