The WG102 ProSafe 802.11g Wireless Access Point from NETGEAR enables 108 Mbps wireless access to corporate network resources, e-mail and the Internet for your mobile workforce demands. Integrated IEEE 802.3af-based Power over Ethernet (PoE) support eliminates extra cables and the need to locate near a power outlet, as the access point is powered over the Ethernet cable. It supports Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) MIB I, MIB II, and 802.11 MIB using SNMP-based network management software, such as NETGEAR ProSafe Network Management System NMS100. In addition, 802.11i ready, WPA provides enhanced, interoperable wireless networking security and enables strong mutual authentication to ensure that only legitimate clients associate with corporate RADIUS servers. The WG102 supports MAC address authentication with 256-user Access Control List (ACL) and VPN pass-through and comes with a 5 dBi detachable antenna.
