The The RocketPort Universal PCI Quad DB9 Serial Port Expansion Card from Comtrol is compatible with current 3.3/5.0 Volt PCI bus architectures and provides four native serial ports utilizing a single 32/64-bit PCI card slot. Its serial ports with DB9 connectors support RS-232 serial communications at speed of up to 460 Kbps. Designed with large transmit-and-receive buffers, this card handles the transmission of data reliably and efficiently. Utilizing an on-board 36 MHz processor, it minimizes host CPU utilization. Additionally, it does not require assignment of interrupts which simplifies installation and eliminates conflicts with other server cards.
