MSM64i BlackDiamond 6800 Management Switch Fabric Module

The MSM64i BlackDiamond 6800 Management Switch Fabric Module is responsible for upper-layer protocol processing and switch management functions in the BlackDiamond chassis. It can store two ExtremeWare software images (version 6.0 or later) and two switch configurations. Installing the MSM64i in a BlackDiamond system provides control and switch fabric redundancy for the BlackDiamond switch. The BlackDiamond 6804 and 6808 can support up to 2 MSM64i modules, while a BlackDiamond 6816 supports up to 4 MSM64i modules. The BlackDiamond 6800 Management Switch Fabric Module is hot-swappable and interchangeable between BlackDiamond series switches.
