The DCIM-USB Computer Interface Module from Raritan provides 'keep-alive' keyboard/mouse emulation technology at the server for flawless operation. The switch (sold separately) connects to each Computer Interface Module (CIM) to provide KVM-over-IP capability for remote access along with simultaneous local access for controlling servers at the rack. Each CIM connects to the KVM ports of an individual server and converts the video signal for transmission. It connects directly to the keyboard, video and mouse ports of your server via USB interface.
