The Additional 200/400 GB LTO-2-L Tape Drive from Dell is a high-capacity data storage device that is designed to perform backups, store mission-critical data and archive files. With a combination of data compression and compaction, the tape drive provides a formatted cartridge capacity of 200 GB (400 GB compressed). It also delivers a maximum sustained transfer rate of 20 MBps (native) across an SCSI LVD interface. In addition, this drive offers backward read compatibility with LTO-1 format. This product has been tested and validated on Dell systems to ensure it will work with your Dell PowerEdge 2900 / PowerVault 114T Systems. It is supported by Dell Technical Support when used with a Dell system. Please order cable and controller separately.
