The 4-Channel MasterConsole II KVM Switch from Raritan is a full-featured, multi-platform, single-user KVM switch. It allows computer selection by name from pop-up, on-screen menus and also provides on-site, flash firmware upgrades. It maintains configuration data through Raritans overview software. MasterConsole is engineered for dependability as it has a dedicated, intelligent processor at each port so each connected server ''sees'' its own keyboard and mouse, preventing lockup. Raritan's 'keep-alive' design ensures nonstop server operation in case of power loss to the switch. It supports high-resolution video of up to 1600x1200 pixels as well as ensures authorized access via password security.
