Ideal for space-constrained system designs, this adapter features two 16550 UART serial ports that offer data transfer rates of up to 230 Kbps. Its built-in 32-byte FIFO buffers dramatically increases data transmit/receive speed, especially under Windows multitasking environment. It supports devices such as handheld scanners, table scanners and POS displays. The cards low-profile PCB and bracket make it ideal for adding Serial capabilities to low-profile or small form-factor desktop systems.
