The Dell 1U Rack Console enables you to mount a system administrators control station directly into a Dell rack without sacrificing rack space needed for servers and other peripherals. Combining a height-adjustable 15" flat panel monitor with a specially designed keyboard with trackpad, this unit can be attached to Dell console switches to manage the setup, administration, and maintenance of rack-mount servers. The unit features USB connectors (with PS/2 adapters) and a SVGA video output. Optimized for Dell 4210 and 2410 racks, this unit is compatible for deployment into previous Dell racks as well as third party racks meeting specifications for deployment within Dell VersaRails standards. And, because it is fully compatible with the 1U rack-mounting kit, it can be installed quickly. This product has been tested and validated on Dell systems. It is supported by Dell Technical Support when used with a Dell system.
